Important Dates:

  1. First Day of School: Wednesday, September 4th.

Preparation Tips for Success:

  1. Label your child’s backpack with their name and teacher’s name.

  2. If your child will eat breakfast at school:

    • Drop-off Time: 8:05 AM - 8:25 AM.

Drop-off Procedures:

  • UPK - K - 1:

    • Drop off at the bus loop.

    • Remain in the vehicle; a staff member will assist your child.

    • Pull away slowly after your child exits.

    • Avoid “leapfrogging” other cars for safety.

  • Grades 2-3:

    • Drop off at the flagpole by the main entrance.

    • Children can exit and walk into the building independently.

    • If parking is necessary, use the designated parking spaces; do not park in the drop-off loop.

  • For Children Not Eating Breakfast:

    • Drop-off Time: 8:40 AM - 8:55 AM at the flagpole/main entrance.

    • Do not drop off before 8:40 AM, as students cannot enter the building until then.

    • Use designated parking spaces if you need to park.

Open House:

  • Date: Tuesday, September 3rd from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM.

  • Caregivers will not be allowed to walk students to class; staff will assist students.

Dismissal Procedures:

  • Pick Up at Front Loop by Flagpole:

    • 2:45 PM: UPK students (must be signed out by a parent/caregiver).

    • 2:55 PM: K students (must be signed out by a parent/caregiver).

    • 3:00 PM: Grades 1-3.

Transportation Changes Starting September 1, 2024:

  1. One Pick-Up and Drop-Off Point:

    • Consistent morning pick-up and afternoon drop-off locations for eligible bus riders.

    • No multiple drop-off addresses allowed.

    • Parents must arrange for someone to meet their child at the designated stop if needed.

  2. Emergency Procedures:

    • A written request is required for changes due to emergencies, including:

      • Parent/guardian's full name

      • Child’s full name

      • Bus number

      • Adult’s full name, address, and phone number for pick-up.

    • Submit written notes to the main office by 10:00 AM. For late emergencies, call the main office.

  3. Walking or Pick-Up:

    • A note is required by 10:00 AM if not riding the bus.

Note: Buses may take longer to load during the first week as students adjust to new routines.
